 Je suis compositrice genevoise, d’origine roumaine (née à Bucarest). J’ai commencé à étudier la musique avant l’âge de six ans et consacré beaucoup d’années de mon enfance à l’étude du violon, du solfège et de l’harmonie musicale.

Je suis diplômée du Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Bucarest (en 1976), ayant suivi également des cours de contrepoint, d’orchestration, ainsi que de chant lyrique.

 

Pendant des années j’ai fait partie de plusieurs chœurs professionnels comme ceux de l’Opéra et de la Radio-Bucarest, du chœur Madrigal (dirigé par Marin Constantin), et plus tard, à partir de 1981, du Chœur de Chambre Romande à Lausanne, ainsi que celui de la Radio Suisse italienne à Lugano.

 

 J’ai participé à des nombreux concerts en Suisse et à l’étranger sous la direction de Iosif Conta, Horst Stein, Armin Jordan, Wolfgang Sawalich, James Conlon, Pierre Boulez, André Charlet.

 

En tant que compositrice, j’ai écrit des œuvres comme : Trio "Délivrance" pour violon, violoncelle et piano, "Quatuor des Consonances" pour 2 violons, alto et violoncelle, "Prélude à l'Aube" pour piano et orchestre,  Cantate "A Jean-Sébastien" pour solistes, piano et orchestre, Trio "Hypostases" pour violon et 2 violoncelles, Cantate pour chœur et piano,  Oratorio "Hymne à la vie" pour solistes, chœur et orchestre, "Quintet en couleurs" pour instruments à vent et harpe, Concerto "Final en Si" pour violon et orchestre, 2 Symphonies ("des couleurs" et "pour les nostalgiques"). Certaines de mes oeuvres ont été déjà jouées en public plusieurs fois à Genève à la Salle des Abeilles, et à Zurich, au  Kongresshaus (Kammermusiksaal), par des musiciens de l’OSR, quatuor Terpsycordes, quatuor Fratres, quatuor D-Cadences de l'Ensemble de musique de chambre de l'OSR, ainsi que des chanteurs du Grand-Théâtre de Genève.

J'ai effectué plusieurs tournées artistiques à l'étranger : Etats-Unis, France, Italie, Angleterre, Turquie, Hongrie, Serbie, Croatie, Pologne, Autriche, Allemagne.

En collaboration avec le poète genevois Jean-Paul Darmsteter, j’ai réalisé également une série de douze chansons comme: Tango, Miroir, Sur un air, Send him an angel too, L'oiseau libre, etc 

2007-2017 - professeur de chant et de solfège à l'école Migros (Genève).

 

2017 - Participation à l'œuvre Mosaic - réalisée en collaboration avec 39 compositeurs des 39 pays.

Cette création a été jouée entre temps en France à Besançon, en Suisse à la Chaux-de-Fond et Genève (Chambesy)

2018 - l'oeuvre Mosaic a été jouée en Autriche à Vienne, En Bulgarie à Sofia, En Slovaquie à Bratislava. Le mois de juin, le même concert a eu lieu à Bucarest, aux Palais Brâncovenesti de Mogosoaia, à l'occasion du vernissage de l'exposition de l'artiste: Denissa Serban Maschek.

 

19 juillet 2019 - Trio "Hypostases" pour violon et 2 violoncelles - dans le cadre du Festival "Musique-en-Graves", au château de Gravas (région Bordeaux). Nina Millet (violon) - Aurélienne Brauner, Matthieu Lejeune (violoncelle).

 

2019 - Participation, avec un extrait du Trio - Délivrance, à l'évènement "1178 ? Gest pentru EROI", qui a eu lieu à Bucarest à l'occasion de la commémoration des héros de la Révolution du décembre 1989.

 

2023 - Participation à la Fête de la musique (Salle de lecture, 11 Grand-rue) avec le Concerto pour violon et orchestre: "Final en Si", variante avec piano. Interprètes - violon : Kerry Benson et piano: Amnon Shachal

I am Genevan composer, of Rumanian origin (born in Bucharest). I had begun to study the music before the age of six years and dedicated many years of my childhood to the study of the violin, the music theory and the harmony.
I am awarded a diploma by the Upper Music Academy of Bucharest (in 1976), having also taken class of counterpoint, orchestration, as well as lyric singing.
For years I was a member of several choirs professional as those of the Opera and of Radio-Bucharest, of the famous choir "Madrigal" managed by Marin Constantin, and later, from 1981, of the Choir of Chamber of French Switzerland in Lausanne, as well as that of the Italian Swiss Radio to Lugano.
I participated in numerous concerts in Switzerland and internationally, with famous conductors : Iosif Conta, Horst Stein, Armin Jordan,
Wolfgang Sawalich, James Conlon, Pierre Boulez, André Charlet.

 

As composer, I wrote works as: Trio for violin, cello and piano, Quartet for 2 violins, viola(alto) and cello, Prelude for piano and orchestra, Cantata for soloists and orchestras, Cantata for choir and piano, Oratorio for soloists, choir and orchestra, Trio for violin and 2 cellos, Concerto for violin & orchestre, Quintet for wind instruments & harp, 2 Symphonies. Some of my works were already played in public several times in Geneva and in Zurich, in the Kongresshaus in  Kammermusiksaal, by musicians of the OSR, the quartet Terpsycordes, the quartet Fratres, the quartet D-Cadences (Chamber music ensemble of the OSR), as well as the singers of the Big Theater of Geneva.

 

I made several artistic tours in USA, France, England, Italy, Turkey, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, Poland, Germany.

 

In association with the genevan poet Jean-Paul Darmsteter, I also realized a series of twelve songs like : Tango, Mirror, Lost country, On a tune, Send him an angel too, Free bird, etc.

 
2007-2017 - teacher of music at the school Migros, as well as in private, the singing, the music theory, the musical harmony, the counterpoint.

The rest of the time I dedicate him to the composition of new pieces of music.

2017- Participation in the work Mosaic - realized in association with 39 composers of 39 countries.

 

This creation was played meanwhile in France Besançon, in Switzerland in Chaux-de-Fond and Geneva (Chambesy)

 

2018 - the work Mosaic was played in Austria in Vienna, In Bulgaria in Sofia, In Slovakia in Bratislava. June, same concert took place in Bucharest, in Palaces Brâncovenesti de Mogosoaia, on the occasion of the varnishing of the exhibition of the artist: Denissa Serban Maschek.
